Last week, the Capcom Pro Tour was announced, turning the world’s biggest Street Fighter tournaments into a year-long league, culminating at the Capcom Cup Grand Finals in December.
The league has technically already started with the SoCal Regionals, where players have began to accrue points for league play, but this weekend, with Final Round, we’ll see the first direct-entry qualifiers for the Capcom Cup.
Final Round is the first “Premier Event” in the series, meaning that the winner automatically qualifies for the 16-player, Grand Finals bracket.
The 2-day-long tournament begins today in Atlanta. You can watch all the action from 10am, EDT, via the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel.
